Service Animal Policy
- No pets are allowed inside City of Folsom facilities.
- Service animals are welcomed and permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Folsom Public Library went fine free at the direction of City Council on July 11, 2023
- Library Fee Schedule
- The Library encourages patrons to return items in a responsible and timely fashion so other community members may enjoy its shared resources.
- While the Library has eliminated overdue fines for its items, patrons will still be automatically billed and have their accounts blocked if items are not returned within 21 days of their due date. Patrons with items kept for more than 40 days past their due date may further be referred to collections and incur a nonrefundable $10 fee.
- Folsom Public Library is partnered with several libraries in the area. Cards from Sacramento Public Library, Sutter County, Woodland, and Colusa County Libraries and their branches can be used at the Folsom Public Library. Check out and fine policies vary across the partner libraries and are posted on their respective websites.
- If you still see a charge on your account, it may be related to a lost or damaged item or an item from a partner library. If you believe the charge on your account is in error, please contact us at libcirc@folsom.ca.us or 916-461-6130.
Lending Period: Most Folsom items check out for three weeks and can be renewed up to three times as long as there is no waiting list.
